The questions people actually ask

What happens when I go past 3 clients?
Creating the fourth asks you to upgrade. Nothing you already have stops working, and nothing is deleted.
Do my clients count as seats?
No. Client contacts are free and unlimited on every plan, including the free one. Seats are the people at your agency.
How large can a file be?
50MB on free, 200MB on Studio — enough for a finished video cut rather than stills only. Anything larger goes on as a Drive link, which works on every plan and keeps the approval thread in one place either way.
What if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted, ever. Your workspaces become read-only and you choose which 3 stay active. Everything remains exportable, and upgrading again restores the lot.
Do I have to use the AI?
No, and it is off until an owner switches it on. Everything else in Canopy works exactly the same without it, and no client information is sent anywhere until you press Generate.
Does Canopy generate images?
No. It writes the brief for whoever makes the artwork — the subject, the feeling, the words on the image — and your designer takes it from there.
Do you publish to social platforms?
No, and we do not plan to. Canopy is where a month gets agreed. You publish where you already publish. The scheduling tools do that part, and do it well.
Can I get my data out?
Always, on every plan, including free and including while over the limit. Posts, captions, comments and statuses as JSON or CSV, with your files alongside.
